Tom Cruise refuses to have a mobile phone, watch or an email address.
The 'Lions for Lambs' star claims he is down-to-earth despite his Hollywood status and £125 million fortune, and has no interest in modern gadgets or accessories.
He said: "I wear jeans, socks and a shirt - all totally normal.
"I get my hair cut on set. I have no iPhone, no mobile, no email address, no watch, no jewellery, no wallet.
"I simply want to be with my children and make movies. My values for my children never change - love, responsibility, curiosity at the wonder of life.
"Every day is a gift. You must learn to take your life in your hands, then you can reach any goal. You make your dreams come true only if you believe in yourself."
The 45-year-old actor has also revealed he is desperate to have more children with wife Katie Holmes, the mother of his 18-month-old daughter Suri.
He added in an interview with a German magazine: "We are enjoying what we have but we do want lots more children."
Tom also has two adopted children - Isabella, 14, and 12-year-old Connor - with ex-wife Nicole Kidman.
