The girl is having a breakdown and since she has been so used to being in total control of everything and almost everyone in her life - actually listening to someone - who might be saying something that she doesn't want to hear - like Britney - You need Help! - will likely be ignored.

If she is doing drugs - then it is a combination of both.


But you don't get married - have two children - one after the other - break up - and feel fine !

No one can do that and walk away - like their on top of the world.


It's a breakdown - whether drugs are involved or not and she needs help.

Well, of course, it is a mental illness. It is really a shame that there is no one to help her. It is a big problem in our society that help for the mentally ill is really hard to obtain unless the person desires it...and it is almost imposssible to get a mentally ill person to even acknowledge that they are ill. Where she not not rich and famous, she would be just another crazy street person. So sad.

There is a lot of help out there for Britney. Her family and associates have encouraged her or taken her to hospitals and clinics for her psychological issues, but the girl won't stay in long enough to get the treatment she needs; somewhere in her mind she believes that she is fine and her behaviour is appropriate; to her everyone else should get help and leave her alone. She is the one who needs to admit to herself that she needs help, go for it and complete it; if not, she may lose her sons, I'm sure she loves, altogether. UNFORTUNATELY HER SONS WILL BE THE ONES WHO SUFFER THE MOST.
