Brad Pitt thinks being a dad has made him a better actor.
The 'Troy' star insists his career has been boosted by fatherhood because he works harder on set so he can get back home to see his kids.
Brad - whose long-term partner is Angelina Jolie - said: "There was definitely a time when I lost direction. Now I feel like I'm back on track.
"Time becomes more valuable because, when you have kids, there's so much time you want to spend at home and make sure they get time with you, so when it's work time I actually focus more, get more done and do a better job."
Brad and Angelina have three adopted children, six-year-old Maddox, three-year-old Pax, and two year-old Zahara, as well as a 16-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh.
Earlier this year, Shiloh enjoyed a cameo role in her dad's upcoming film 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'.
A source said: "She's a natural. Shiloh did her scenes perfectly and was giggling and happy throughout her big day."
'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' will hit cinema screens next year.
