This is not a shock at all. When someone dies his energy is just transferred to a different plane. He is no longer in his body but he is always around. The feeling the Beatles got in the studio was no coincidence. John was most definitly there. They felt his energy. What they heard on the tape was no coincidence either. Spirits always speak to us. You have to be aware of it and open to it. It's not magical at all. The white feather was John's way of communicating with his son. He probably also appears to Beatle fans as well, which is why that guy from Oasis saw him. There is scientific proof of this and it is not our imagination. People don't believe because they've been conditioned not to.

I have always felt him around, but the night of George Harrison's death
was the strongest. I put on All Things Must Past and about half way through, the lights started blinking. I got spooked and changed the stereo to Imagine. My lights blinked four times, one after another, and then they stopped blinking. I think that was George's way of saying Goodbye, and John was with him.
