Paul McCartney is fighting a second battle to his never-ending divorce to prevent details of his private life being dragged into court as he enters the most bitter phase of his divorce from Heather Mills.
McCartney is trying to halt a legal action for libel and breach of privacy by Mills against two newspaper publishers. If he is unsuccessful, the case could result in a public airing of personal details of their private life.
Last week McCartney failed to seal a court agreement with Mills under which she would agree to a confidentiality clause as part of a $100+ million divorce settlement.
The libel and privacy action relates to the leaking last year of divorce papers claiming that McCartney was violent towards Mills.
McCartney, had allegedly grabbed Mills’s neck, cut her arm and pushed her over a coffee table in separate incidents according to the documents.
McCartney is determined to close all avenues to a public airing of details of his marriage.
The allegations leaked last year were contained in papers faxed anonymously from a small shop in central London to the Associated Press agency in New York and the Press Association agency in Yorkshire.
A full-scale divorce hearing has been provisionally scheduled for the High Court in February following the stalling of last week’s talks.
The upcoming divorce hearing will be behind closed doors, a spokesman at the High Court confirmed.
If it were to reach the Court of Appeal, however, the case would become public.

She will get millions - how much more does this witch need? And why do celebrities insist on relating all the intimate details of their lives in the first place, but, of course, if it means money, some will do anything.
And don't give the daughter a second thought when she reads about it some day - stupid!
i think she was in it for the money right from the start and new if she had a child she would get more. but paul wont let the child go short money isnt everything and she wont go short of love either not by paul anyway.
She will only get what she's entitled to. That's like 100 million bucks.
Sir Paul is almost but not quite a Billionaire so. She should just take the money and shut up.

see. Oh she's not in it for the money. Yeah right. She'll lose the case just because she said those words. It's called principle.
If she just takes the settlement money she would do realllll wellll!
