She is the best of the group so that means her talents fits somewhere near a wailing cat in heat in an alley.
Wow, I have every cd all of them put out during their solo career, and I have to agree, I love all the solo albums but Melanie's by far are the best.

She's right - she was the best. But I'm afraid that's not really saying much is it? Their phenomena is not based on vocal talent.
