Cheryl Cole is planning her pregnancy with "military precision".

The sexy singer will have to carefully consider when she can start trying for a baby with her soccer star husband Ashley Cole so it doesn't interfere with Girls Aloud's touring schedule or the soccer season.

She said: "I do really want a baby, and so does Ashley, but it's not just my life I have to think about - there are five other people who would be affected if I got pregnant.

"The band have got a bit of a break next year, once our tour is out of the way, so maybe then. There's just so many things to consider, it's crazy.

"Like, if Ashley has a match on the day the baby is born, he still has to play, so he could miss the birth. We'll just have to plan the whole thing with military precision."

The 24-year-old singer also claims she could be the one save troubled star Britney Spears.

She told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "I was desperate to run into Britney in Los Angeles. She's an icon, and it's really sad what she's going through. She needs her family around her, people who can tell her what's real.

"I really hope her mother makes her go to rehab. She can clean herself up, get her boys back and start making amazing music again."
