Jessica Simpson is searching for an apartment in New York so she can be closer to her record label.

The 27-year-old singer and actress, who is currently living in Los Angeles, has been looking at apartments all over Manhattan, ranging from $2 to $12 million.
Jessica said: "I'm looking at places because my record label is in New York and I want to be close to that and I'm singing again - I'm looking forward to it."
The star wants to move soon so she can start work on her upcoming album.
Jessica - who recently finished filming her fourth film 'Major Movie Star' - is planning to experiment with a new country sound on her new LP.
Joe, her father and manager, told People magazine: "Jessica is talking about doing a country record and going back to her roots, being from Texas. Everything in our business is about beats and I think she really wants to sing - she's a singer from top to bottom.
"Everything in the music business, especially pop music, has moved away from singers. And I think country is the only pure, storytelling kind of genre left."
Blonde Jessica, who is one of the faces of Operation Smile - a charity which provides surgery for children who suffered from facial birth defects and can't afford treatment - revealed she used her singing ability on a recent trip to Kenya.
She added: "I've been in the hospital with the kids. Most of them are babies, so I can sing them lullabies to help them get to sleep."
