Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills will finally settle their divorce this week.

The Beatles legend - who split from Heather in May 2006 following a four-year marriage - has agreed to a secret court hearing and the pair are expected to appear before a High Court judge tomorrow (10.10.07) or Thursday (11.10.07).

Paul and Heather are keen to hammer out their divorce deal in private and avoid an expensive and potentially embarrassing public court hearing.

Heather, 39, is set to receive a lump sum of at least £25-£30million and a further £3.5 million every year until their three-year-old daughter Beatrice turns 18.

Paul, 65, will reportedly pay all the expenses for Beatrice's schooling, travel, security and nannies and the pair will share custody of their daughter.

The divorce deal is also said to include a clause banning the pair from speaking publicly about the breakdown of their marriage.

Meanwhile, Paul has reportedly vowed to never perform 'Ebony and Ivory' again.

The number one hit, which he recorded with Stevie Wonder in 1982, was recently voted the worst duet in pop history in a BBC Radio 6 poll.

A source said: "Paul accepts the song hasn't aged well and it probably won't be on his playlist when he goes on tour next year."
