Jennifer Garner has banned her daughter from becoming an actress.
The 'Alias' star insists she and her actor husband Ben Affleck have no desire to see their 22-month-old daughter Violet follow in their Hollywood footsteps.
When asked if Violet was showing any traits of a budding star, Jennifer replied: "Well, she is not even two, she is unaware of what we both do for a living, but no, and if she did we would both just kabosh it."
Jennifer, 35, explained bringing Violet onto the set of her latest movie 'The Kingdom' - about a group of FBI agents hunting for a terrorist ring in Saudi Arabia - brought "so much job to the job" but her daughter was too young to understand what she was doing.
She said: "Oh of course she saw me in my costume, but she was too young to know why she was covered in fake goo, which was fake blood, she had no idea really."
The 'Alias' star also revealed director Peter Berg got a bit carried away toughening her up for the action role when he hit her in the stomach.
She told BANG Showbiz: "He punched me like a fool. He was being funny and he thought the cavalier vest I had on would protect me from a man's punch. But A, cavalier vest doesn't protect you from impact and B, it's a costume, it's not real. So, he knocked the wind out of me and I have been able to use it against him ever since."
When asked if she asked her spouse to confront the filmmaker, she joked: "Yeah right!"
