Halle Berry's baby rush

Pregnant Halle Berry is determined to have another baby "immediately" after her first.

The Oscar-winning actress, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend model Gabriel Aubry, says one child won't be enough to satisfy her broodiness.

She told US chat show host Oprah Winfrey yesterday (02.10.07): "There's just one baby at the moment, but we're hoping, straight after this one, to do it again!"

Halle - who took 35 pregnancy tests before she believed the good news - revealed playing a mother in new film 'Things We Lost in the Fire' made her realise she wanted to have a baby.

She said: "I think it validated that I was meant to be a mother because every day I dealt with the character as a mother and thinking as a mother. It let me know that I had to be a mother."

Halle also said she doesn't want to know the sex of the baby before it is born.

She added: "There are so few genuine surprises in life anymore that, why not have a huge surprise? And I like fantasising one day that it's a girl, and one day that it's a boy."
