Sutherland has four DUI's

Kiefer Sutherland's DUI past has come to light, after his most recent arrest for the same offense.

CelebTV.com reports the Emmy-award winning actor has four DUI's in his court record.

Kiefer was busted early Tuesday morning for driving under the influence in West Hollywood.

Sutherland, who plays counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer, was pulled over after leaving the Fox Fall Eco-Casino party at Area nightclub.

Sutherland was arrested on a separate DUI charge three years ago, in 2004.

CelebTV.com reveals that Sutherland was also arrested in 1988 for DUI and for carrying a concealed weapon and a loaded firearm in a public place.

Then in 1993, the actor had another a DUI charge.

CelebTV.com asked their legal expert Royal Oakes about the charges, and it may be that the '89 and '93 charges might not hurt Sutherland legally.

"The good news for Kiefer is that the old ones might not matter so much," says Oakes to CelebTV. "Mandatory jail time is for back-to-back charges. Otherwise, the system kicks in to favor alcohol treatment, not jail."

If Kiefer is convicted, he must serve a mandatory minimum of four days in jail.

After posting $25,000 bail, Kiefer was scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16.
