George Clooney is worried he may be "in trouble" following his motorbike crash.

The 46-year-old actor - who suffered a fractured rib and road rash after he collided with a car in Weehawken, New Jersey, at around 3.30pm on Friday (21.09.07) - admitted producers on his new movie 'Burn After Reading' warned him not to use his motorbike until filming had finished.

Clooney, who attended the world premiere of his latest movie 'Michael Clayton' in New York with bandaged arms last night (24.09.07), said: "I'm a little dinged up - lots of Neosporin ointment. I'm definitely not jogging or doing jumping jacks.

"I'm not supposed to be on a motorcycle. I think I am in trouble now."

Clooney - who was accompanied to the premiere by girlfriend Sarah Larson, who was hobbling on crutches after suffering a broken toe and a black eye in the crash - said the couple were slowly recovering from the accident and refraining from all rigorous activities.

He said: "We are just resting for now. You don't really want to rub or massage parts that are broken or anything!

"We are hiding Sarah's black eye with make-up. It looks like I socked her a couple of times!"

Meanwhile, Albert Sciancalepore - who was driving the Mazda car involved in the accident - claims he was "shocked" and "concerned" after the crash and still maintains Clooney's motorbike smashed into him.

He told US TV show 'Access Hollywood': "My main concern was there are two people on the ground, they just hit me and, you know, I'm concerned for them.

"They're both bleeding, it's more of a shock than anything, not because he's a celebrity, but more to the fact that there's two people hurt on the ground that could have been severely hurt."

Police are still investigating the crash, and the 'Ocean's Thirteen' actor could face dangerous driving charges if he was attempting to overtake the car on the right.

Sergeant Sean Kelly said: "It's a he-said, she-said argument right now, but you can't pass on the right in Weehawken or anywhere in New Jersey."
