The trial of the decade (so far) has been that of Phil Spector, on trial for the murder of Lana Clarkson who was found in his home, a gun shot fired in her mouth that killed her instantly.

His camp claimed Lana was despondent over her film career, she spontaneously shot herself in a fit of depression.
Prosecutors claim no way, it was Spector who did the deed. His history with women proven by various witnesses to be sketchy and rife with gun play.
Now the jury in the Phil Spector trial has indicated to a judge that they have been unable to come to reach a verdict.
Superior Court Judge Larry Fidler says he is considering giving the jury the option of weighing a possible manslaughter charge.
The jury is currently considering only a second degree murder charge against the music producer.
TMZ.com claims the jurors are split, according to the foreperson who has told the judge they are divided 7 to 5. No word on how many are voting for a guilty verdict or how many are leaning towards acquittal.
