James McAvoy's teeth vow

James McAvoy refuses to have his teeth fixed.
The Scottish actor - who starred in the Oscar-winning 'The Last King of Scotland' and can currently be seen in 'Atonement' alongside Keira Knightley - refuses to bow to Hollywood pressure to have his gnashers whitened and straightened.
James said in an interview with Esquire magazine: "Am I going to get my teeth fixed? Am I f**k! Only when they all fall out!"
The 28-year-old star has appeared in several hit films, including 'Starter for 10' and 'Becoming Jane', and credits his mediocre looks for getting him so many parts.
He said: "I'm not devastatingly handsome, and I'm not devastatingly ugly, so I can play either side of the line.
"I will choose a turkey one day, I promise. I just will. Who knows, I might even have already chosen one!"

I also do not find his looks to be at all 'mediocre.' When I first saw him in Children of Dune many years ago I was stunned by his beauty. Seriously in awe. He's gorgeous. I am happy he will not be changing his teeth because I love them the way they are.
I hope Hollywood doesn't try to change him into another carbon copy of their ideal of beauty, which I find lacking in many cases anyway. I think James' teeth are perfect the way they are and add character. However, I do disagree with him on one point, he is devastatingly handsome!
Dont know what the fuss is about his teeth. I think he's adorable just the way he is ---& a fine actor & know his star will continue to rise.

I think you will find that many women do not find James's looks in any way mediocre and there is nothing wrong with his teeth - all adds to the charm!
