Gwen Stefani's smoking friends

Gwen Stefani used to burn her friends when she was younger.
The 'Hollaback Girl' singer and her childhood pals used to dress each other up and Gwen was in charge of hair - which often led to painful results.
She said: "I met my best friend recently. I hadn't seen her for a while and we were remembering how we would go home from school and spend the whole afternoon doing our hair and posing. I was the hair and make-up person for our whole group, I would burn everyone's ears with curling irons and I cut everyone's hair."
Gwen - who has a 15-month-old son Kingston with husband Gavin Rossdale - has always enjoyed experimenting with make-up.
She said: "I have been playing this game my whole life. I love make-up, I love doing hair and I always played dollies and house. My dad made us children a Wendy house and we would play mommies and daddies all the time. My whole life I have been me!"
