David Beckham believes soccer can achieve world peace.
The Los Angeles Galaxy star - who moved to the US in July to play Major League Soccer - believes his new team can unite all races and bring harmony to every nation.
David said: "It's always been said football can bring people together all around the world.
"I think something special can go on in this stadium and in this city as well.
"I looked around the other night, there were people from everywhere. They were black, white, Mexican, South American, Korean, Chinese and European.
"People from all the different communities, all the different neighbourhoods, they're all here together for the football."
Meanwhile, David's eldest son Brooklyn is tipped to be an even bigger soccer star than his world famous dad.
The eight-year-old has apparently inherited his father's impressive skills and has been impressing Los Angeles' top youth coaches by playing against children four years older than him.
A source said: "He has made a big impression. He stands out on the pitch, even against much older boys.
"It's very exciting to see how he is developing."
