Halle Berry's ex-husband has sent his congratulations to her after it was announced she's pregnant with her first child.
Eric Benet - who split from the Oscar-winning beauty in 2004 after reportedly cheating on her - wishes Halle and her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry happiness with their impending arrival.
He told People magazine: "I wish Halle and her partner a healthy baby and all the happiness in the world."
Earlier this week, Halle - who was also previously married to American baseball player David Justice - announced she was three months pregnant.
The 'Monster's ball' star said she and Gabriel, who she met while shooting a Versace advert in November 2005, were "beyond excited".
She revealed: "Yes, I am three months pregnant!
"Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I've waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next few months will be the longest of my life!"
In April, Halle revealed her life would not be complete until she became a mother.
She said: "Not that there's not more to accomplish, but I think I have arrived at a point in my life where I have realised I need more to get me up in the morning.
"More than going to a new movie set. I need something more profound and that's family, that's children."

Good that's great, I hope that she Is still Involved In the Life of Eric's Daughter India she really seemed to Genuinely Love her.
