Owen Wilson's family keeps Hudson away

Gatecrasher Ben Widdicombe reports that Owen Wilson's recovery is taking place "without contact from his ex, Kate Hudson."
His source close to Hudson clams attempts to send regards have been rebuffed by Wilson's camp.
"Kate has been trying to get in touch with Owen and is distraught that the family doesn't want her anywhere near him," says an unnamed friend. "She is very frustrated."
Hudson and Wilson connected during the filming of "You, Me and Dupree." The relationship was ended by Wilson, according to Hollywood Reporter Janet Charlton, despite several attempts otherwise.
Wilson, who was hospitalized in Los Angeles after a drug overdose and suicide attempt, has been battling depression for some time.
The Gatecrasher insider added: "[Owen's family members] don't think Kate is good for him."
