Brad Pitt was grabbed by a crazed fan at the Venice Film Festival.
The 43-year-old actor, who was walking down the red carpet with lover Angelina Jolie to promote his new film 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford', was left shaken after the overzealous woman managed to push past security and launched herself at Brad, throwing her arms around him.
A source said: "It was a very scary moment for Brad and Angelina. The security team should never have allowed her to get so close. She could have been anyone. Brad definitely was not impressed by the incident."
The female fan, who insisted she only wanted a hug from Brad, was immediately escorted away by security.
Brad recently revealed he and Angelina - who already have a 15-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh, and three adopted children, six-year-old Cambodian boy Maddox, Vietnamese son Pax Thien, three, and two-year-old Ethiopian daughter Zahara - are keen to add to their brood.
When asked if they wanted a fifth child, Brad replied: "Yeah, we are ready."
The 'Fight Club' star also revealed fatherhood is "the most fun" he's ever had, although he admits he is sleep deprived.
