Bully basher John Travolta

John Travolta got revenge on his childhood bully when he body-slammed him as a teenager.
The 'Pulp Fiction' star - who grew up in Englewood, New Jersey, was tormented for years by the neighbourhood bully, but at the age of 13 he found the strength and courage to hit back.
Travolta, 53, said: "There was a bully on my block who teased me for eight years. When I was 13, I found the strength to lift him over my head and throw him on the ground. I felt so vindicated.
"After that, we were good friends. So maybe that's how you know you're my friend - if I lift you over my head and body-slam you."
The 'Hairspray' star was speaking at the premiere of his wife, Kelly Preston's new movie 'Death Sentence', which co-stars Kevin Bacon.
On the red carpet, Preston - who has a 15-year-son Jett and a seven-year-old daughter Ella with Travolta - revealed she can't stand trendy new plastic-moulded shoes Crocs.
The 44-year-old star said: "I would take revenge on the makers of those Crocs sandals. I cannot deal with those. They're comfy but no thank you! I'll be happy to see that trend end."
