I feel for the guy. What ever the reason i hope he pulls out of it. The world is a sad place today and we all look forward to a time when sadness is done away with

I love the way the media is reporting that Owen Wilson has requested some privacy and yet they keep this in the news every single day. Yes, many of us read stories about famous people as a 'guilty pleasure' but being famous does not mean you are automatically stripped of all your rights to privacy. Mr. Wilson has requested to be left alone during this difficult time. Please show us that the media is comprised of compassionate human beings - give this man a break and let him recuperate in peace.

I wish the vultures (reporters) would leave this story alone. It's none of our business. Anyway, he's already asked to be left in peace, why aren't the newscasters respecting this request?

Every time a star has a bad day everyone jumps to what they think is the conclusion. Now Owen is one of my favorite actors but seeing him like this breaks my heart

As an actor he acts, his roles are charming and poetic, to some inspiring. However, like many that are create wealth in Hollywood, his life is owned by the public domain and his life and its inter-workings are ours to scrutinize. Like politicians they wield influence and power and it is the press and its ability to report (and seek the truth) freely which keeps us from being bewitched by the content of our imaginations.

Keep the stories coming! Especially for those of us that have been bewitched-- free us from our self-deception.

Couldn't he simply be depressed - or manic/depressive? Suicide doesn't need more explanation than that. 'Psycho ward' - nice way to handle an illness 1/3 of Americans go through at some point in life. Show some empathy. Normal people go through this sometimes.

What's funny is that when normal people go through this, no one cares. All of a sudden, everyone has a broken heart because an actor is currently going through it? We don't know this man. We know nothing of how he thinks or his thoughts on life. We need to stop commenting on celebrities as if we all know them. They are human beings that face the same emotions and emotional breakdowns that the rest of us do. Leave him alone and let him deal with this time of his life like you would any other random person on the planet.

I am so with Greg on this one. It disturbs me how everyone is so interested in the lives of people they don't even know. Believe it not, they sit on the toilet the same way I do. Not so attractive anymore huh?
The more interest we show, the more money they make, the more envious the public gets...do you see the vicious cycle? I only read this story because it was sent to me. Normally, I could care less. I will say this, I feel for Owen. I pray for his privacy and his sanity.
