Matt LeBlanc is being sued for $1 million by his ex-manager.
Camille Cerio, who is also rumoured to have once been romantically involved with the star, claims in papers filed at a Los Angeles court that the former 'Friends' star agreed to pay her commission from the pilot of the hit US show and "subsequent" jobs.
Cerio and LeBlanc's professional relationship ended in 1995 but she claims he continued to ask her for career advice up to 1998, and claims the payments ended in 2000.
Cerio also submitted a letter written by LeBlanc dating back to 1994 to the court, in which he states "a cheque in the amount of 15 per cent of the gross compensation for pilot and series derived from 'Friends Like Us' " be made payable to Cerio.
'Friends Like Us' was the original title of 'Friends', in which LeBlanc played dim-witted character Joey Tribbiani.
Cerio is now demanding the 40-year-old actor open his accounting records to show how much he earned from 'Friends', which ended in 2004, and the subsequent spin-off series 'Joey', in which he played the same character.
The lawsuit claims breach of contract and unfair business practices, and Cerio insists the money she is claiming is owed to her as a percentage of his earnings from both shows.
LeBlanc vehemently denies he owes the claimant anything.
His attorney said: "No agreement exists with respect to management, the payment of commissions, or otherwise."
