Dictionary - You're my hero!
Dogfighting is wrong and inhumane, but why is his image being cruicified and football career subject to be taken away from him. Years ago Leonard Little killed a woman while drunk driving and was still accepted back in the league. We also have players that have been involved in selling drugs, beating women, and other assaults. What is heinous and inhumane is how we overlook the fact that deer hunting is legal, and accepted. Maybe if Vick cut off the head of his dog, and put it in his living room you would be more comfortable with him. America and the NFL definetly need to put things in perspective. When was an animal more important than a human!!!!!
I wouldn't mind as long as he ATE the dog. Hunting for food isn't comparable to torturing dogs for gambling money. I'm going to take a special bite of my venison this weekend just for you.
p.s. accidental death (even if he was drunk), selling drugs, and beating women don't compare to torturing animals by the way. Get your priorities straight. If Vick is willing to hurt small animals, what's next? It's the first step to escalation. Or have you never studied psychology?

Name's Tori, not Toni. And we're talking about the death of innocent animals in the name of bloodsport, not beating animals and humans because of our insecurities. You're digging awfully deep to pick a fight. Vick chose helpless creatures that couldn't run away or call the police, that makes him worse than any others out there. If you don't believe this that's your negativity, which is already reflected in your angry tone. Try to relax and have a good evening. Your life shouldn't be so stressful.

Wake up people....the check is not in the mail. You are not getting paid for writing the best blog about this column. Innocent, guilty, undecided? It really does not matter. Michael is a grown-up, and he is handling this the best way that he knows how. It is not even based on a white or black status....this is a celebrity issue. HIS STORY MAKES MONEY...anything attached to this is about money. You don't believe me? Get caught fighting some pitbulls and see if you get more than probation...if that! It is all about who he is and what his bankroll looks like.....

Vick also heard about those stupid Americans, they'll buy into anything. They'll even believe that, if he tilts his head back and flutters his eyelids a bit, that he must be possessed by the Holy Spirt so he's saved! Let's give him a break on his sentence! Amen! Praise the Lord!
Now only Vick need hire a trainer to teach him how to appear saved so those dumbshit Americans will buy into it.

Vick is only apologizing because he got caught. Yes, he's sorry that he won't be overpaid tossing a football around. As far as the race card being pulled, I feel that is not an issue at all! I would be equally inclined to write letters to the NFL asking for his suspension, writing letters to Nike to drop him, and as much as I can do... if he were white or even purple. Bottom line, dog fighting happens all to frequently but because it was someone 'famous' dog fighting has gotten the attention in the media it deserves. Within the last month 32 dog fighting rings have been busted in 15 different states and the Humane Society of the United States has doubled their reward to $5,000 leading to conviction of people affiliated with dog fighting. Vick won't be as sorry as he should be...he will not serve the amount of time in jail that he deserves for his actions.
Truthfully, I am tired of hearing about Vick and the dog fighting. To make valid points, don't be so quick to judge. We have all done things that we shouldn't have done or participated in activities that we knew were inappropiate. White, Black, Red or Yellow! The truth and the whole truth. It is always a race thing. Everything is always a race thing! Bottom line. I don't know why we, as African Americans do foolish things to jepordize our careers and I don't know why the White Man feels as if we aren't allowed to fail and be accepted back but they can do all kinds of Illegal and inhumane things and be accepted back into society. There are alot of talented and highly educated African Americans in this world and those prize possessions can not be taken away whether we are making millions or not. We as people need to learn to stop pointing fingers and use common sense! I've heard some of the most idiotic comments made on public tv and radio stations. I love dogs and I even have a pet cat but to compare the life of an animal to a human being is toooooo much. I mean no animal deserves the right to die because of failed performances but I honestly believe that the media and the NFL took things a little too far. The truth and the whole truth is Michael Vick, you are a very talented African American and you have disappointed the white man. God forgives you for taking the lives those poor innocent dogs, the white man has publically humilated you professionally and to make a long story short, next time, use your time wisely. You are a millionaire and you are fighting dogs???????????? African Americans get it together!!! You got it! God gave it to you! And not even the white man can take it away!!!
