This is BS. I know DMX personally and know he takes very good care of his dogs. I would trust him with my dogs, in fact. I'm sure the media is going to make a big deal of the half pound of narcotics and assault rifles, too. Just another case of the white man trying to bring us down!

anyway, he wasn't there. enough with all of this. it's funny how once again, they blame hip hop. X loves dogs, and the world knows that. the CARETAKER is at blame. the just made the headlines about DMX because he's Famous, and would therefore gain much more headlines. It's not uncommon to bury a dog in your backyard anyway. when mine died, that's what I did. what, I'm supposed to call the humane society? 'excuse me can you come and pick up my rotting pet please?', come on. and maybe he burned the dog so it wouldn't smell. doesn't the humane society do the same things with animals they put down? and why did the police just randomly start digging up his backyard? i don't see any tip about his backyard in any statement from anyone other than police or media. so what if he has 12 pitbulls? I seriously doubt someone is gonna get a dog tattoo'ed on their back, associate many of their songs/cd's with dogs, have a clothing line dedicated to dogs, and bark in many songs, and then go around holding dog fights. Who's next? outkast? they got lotsa dogs. go on, go get 'em. and WHAT does the TITLE/COVER OF HIS CD have to do with ANYTHING AT ALL? Wow.

The caretaker is to blame? Then why does DMX already have one prior in NJ for animal cruelty? Who's fault was it that time? Hopefully they lock up this POS in prison along with that other 'animal lover' Mike Vick.

As for your 'they blame hip hop' comment, all I can say is you can take a man out of the ghetto, but you will never take the ghetto out of a man.

DMX has a book that speeks of his great respect about APBT's. going as so far as saying one saved his life so why would he go and kill them. Pits are a huge deal in his life that do's not make him a fighter. Get a grip and stop racial profiling on dogs or people!

White black puertorican or asian(in the words of the legends), the real issue here is the dogs. He is not exactly favoured by the popo, don't get me wrong, I hope he burns if he hurts these beautiful animals, but the guy is clearly being targeted by the US goverment.

I am not saying he never done it, but come on people, any story involving celebritys is going to be blown way out of proportion.

I say let the courts decide, that is why they have been appointed by the people...
