Liev Schreiber's pap attack

Liev Schreiber attacked photographers outside a Malibu restaurant on Sunday (19.08.07).
The 'Scream' star, who took fiancée Naomi Watts and one-month-old son Alexander for lunch at Taverna Tony, completely lost his temper with the paparazzi waiting outside.
A witness said: "Liev limped up the stairs to the restaurant, set down the baby carrier, then suddenly turned round and pushed a photographer.
"He was screaming, 'You f***ing disgust me, it's a f***ing child and I have one f***ing foot!'
"Then he chased all the rest of the photographers back to their cars, yelling his head off."
When the new parents left the restaurant after their meal Liev remained calm and went straight to the car with his head down, despite the paparazzi doing their best to rile him.
Naomi responded by making a rude hand gesture directed at the snappers.

I have met Mr. Schreiber during his 'Talk Radio' play in New York, and I am sure that the photographers were way too intrusive towards him and his family. He is very patient and very cordial. The people in New York give him and other actors the space and the privacy we all deserve. Just put yourself in their shoes. I guess that the photographers in NY know where and when to back off. I wish him and Ms. Watts and that beautiful baby, who by the way shares my birthday, the best in the World. They should come and live in NY.

These celebrities want to be in the spotlight then decide they don't like it after all. They crave it when they are just starting out, then want them to back off when they get the popularity - they can't have it both ways!
