Elvis earns more dead than most stars do alive

Elvis fans will never die, they keep coming generation after generation drawn by the music and the aura that Elvis Presley had on screen, stage and in person.
Elvis Presley earns not only more money that many living celebrities do, but he still earns more adulation and respect as well.
Fans paying respects on the King's death are holding vigils, and celebrations of his life all over the world.
Dead for 30 years today, Elvis still inspires people to stop what they are doing and remember his legacy and their own youth,when he ruled the radio.
Even youngsters who never saw Elvis live have trekked to Graceland, Elvis's homestead and burial ground in Memphis, Tenn., to mark the night with a candlelight vigil.
Elvis is the only musician to be inducted into four music halls of fame: rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, country and gospel.
After his early music success, Elvis spent two years in the army and later starred in a series of musicals with icons such as Ann-Margaret.
Elvis was also legendary for his kindness and extreme generosity to a multitude of people and causes. There is no doubt that hs fans were mesmerized by him.
Elvis won three Grammy awards for gospel performances, had 18 No. 1 hits and starred in 33 movies. His style has been cited as an influence for many artists, including John Lennon, Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan and Mick Jagger.
