Just another case of a greedy lawyer and client taking up the court's time for a get rich scheme. First of all Don Imus never refered to anyone by name so how can this female say she her reputation was damaged when no one even knows her name. Get over it.If you are half the woman you claim you are just get on with the rest of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to apologize for calling the Yankees a bunch of panty wearing herpes sewer licking butt boys. It was just a figure of speech and I hear the Red Sox saying this stuff all the time. Your man Imus.

This is just another part to the never ending saga of 'Get Whitey' !!

No one in their right minds took what Don Imus said seriously and was actually thinking of the women as actual 'nappy-headed ho's'.

But the way this one is acting, they may change their minds.

She just wants some cash. And if the judge or jury is in their right minds, she won't get it. What an idiot. If I were Imus, I'd make my way back onto radio and call that loser basketball player a money grubbing ho.

Look at all the great things Imus has done for all kinds of unfortunate people, spending his time and his money to help others. What has this stupid woman done for others? NOTHING!!!

And what she's doing now just makes her look like that much more of a LOSER!!!! DON'T GIVE THIS GOLD DIGGER A DIME!!!!!!

The second post says it all. John is 100% correct. You know, If I had a hundred bucks for every time someone made a joke at my expense I would be as stinkin' rich as Don! Imus was making a joke. Hello! Joke. Not a well formed, intelligent, humorous joke but he was not attacking any of those women personally. You cannot tell me that the athletes in question have never heard (or made) snide, derogatory comments on the basketball court. As I recall - it was part of the game.

That's right my friends, that ho is a money grubbing ho. I didn't go into this job for the money and I sure didn't call them nappy headed hos because I wanted more sensationalism, a settlement from CBS and another opportunity to go back on the air. THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY. This is about the Rutgers team women being so ugly I couldn't get a woody for any of them. Now those white chicks on the other team.....constant woody.

Of course it is about the money. Imus got his, now she wants hers. And the lawyer wants his. Typical.

The civil suit seems without merrit. Ahlettes playing at that level are part of the entertainment industry and thereby public figures giving amble leeway to other entertainers to satorize or otherwise poke fun or even ridicule them. If the news can't make fun of Paris Hilton, whats a newscaster to do. If Howard Stern had said it instead of Don Imus we'ed all still be pounding Howards first amendment rights. Besides this suit is about money and not nessecaraly the money to be won in the suit but the money to be gained from the recognition level. It's the american way and we can all have all the justice we can afford.

Ugh..I hope he countersues and gets her for defamation. They all accepted his apology and now she goes and sues him. What bull.

What about those Duke Lacrosse players? Why aren't they suing the stripper that DESTROYED their lives? Interesting how it works.

Women were put on this earth to look good for us guys. It's not my fault that those women are dogs and prostitutes. This law suit proves it. They are complaining because I just said what all us guys were thinking. They should try to make themselves look prettier for us and this never would have happened. I know those hos can straighten their hair and I will personally pay for it. And how about some lipstick and some attempt to look like real women and not nappy headed athletes.

What a freakin joke! These people accept the apology in public then turn around and sue??? What a joke...this girl should be ashamed of herself and realize these are precisely the type of actions that keep stereotypes like the ones surrounding this case alive.

This sort of waste on our court systems wouldn't happen if the USA used the 'loser pays all' in suites.

The only reason this was done now is to make an easy buck, not to achieve justice. The man is a bigot, racist idiot that was FIRED for what he said. So they want to punish him some more (double jeopardy precedence problem)

If anyone waits this long to file, and kept mouth shut when it happened, then it is suspect as a greed motivated action, and should be tossed out of court. Regardless...the filer has to show actual damages...not just 'after a long time to think it over, I believe it hurt my feelings...' crud.

We can't shoot people for being stupid...we can't punish people for being idiots...nor for being greedy..but we can ensure those people do not cause the rest to suffer from their actions.

You want justice, write his new employer for reasoning as to why hire such a person to speak on their airwaves. Boycott the parent company. This will keep the idiot off the air and out of work...more justice then spending tax payers dollars on a court case brought on by one person being a stupid idiot, and another being greedy. (neither is a crime, but both sure hurt us all)

You guys in here seem to be really smart and on my side. I can tell you like it is. Not even my Viagra was helping me get it up watching those monkey heads run around on the court. I did get it up for the cute white chicks on the other team though. Who cares who won or lost that stupid game. It was all about how ugly those hos were and how me or any other red blooded viagra dosing guy wouldn't want to screw any of them. I would like to butt boy a few of the Yankees though.

racist?Aug 15th, 2007 - 22:57:22

I will tell you what racist is. Negro college fund is racist. Being allowed to use the phrase 'La Raza' is racist (spanish for 'the race'). I wonder what would happen if there was a college fund for poor white people called the Anglo college fund? Hmm what if white people were allowed to use the phrase 'The Race'.

I think what is really going on here in nationalism..

Think about it. 'african-american' is not a race it is two nations labeled on a human. Racist would be not liking one of the only three races that exist..Negroid, Caucasoid, and Mongoloid. These are the only races and what exactly any of them have to do with africa, mexico, or the united states will remain a mystery to me.

Stop being a bunch of nationalist unless your going to be proud of being an american. jackasses. A

Our judicial system is broken. Any judge that would allow a court case to go forward on this issue should be removed from the bench for gross stupidity.

I guess Kia Vaughn realized that the WNBA wasn't as good of a pay day as suing a multi-million radio host. What a joke. Good luck taking that one to court. I'd just ask the judge if he can name the starting 5 players for the Rutgers Women's Basketball team, if he can't, it's going to be pretty hard to prove that Imus caused any harm by his comments to Vaugh.

In Vaugh's bio online she says she wants to get into broadcasting....good luck with now too.

If you've actually listen to the audio of the show, it's Imus' side kick that said the comment and then Imus chimes in, i think overall his side kick (who ever it is)said more offensive comments than Imus, but you didn't here anything about that.

Glad we have freedom of speech.
