Amy Winehouse's worried father is urging her to leave her north London home in a bid to help her quit alcohol and drugs.
The 'Rehab' singer - who was rushed to hospital last week after allegedly taking a cocktail of ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine and alcohol - regularly parties in the trendy Camden area and her father Mitch is convinced she needs to move away.
Mitch and Amy's manager Ray have been house-hunting for the star in a quiet suburb of London.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Mitch and Ray want her to escape the whole scene for the sake of her career and are going to look into it. They talked about whether they should rent or buy a house for Amy to use as a bolthole."
Ray has even reportedly visited Amy's favorite Camden pubs and begged them to keep an eye on the singer and her new husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
The source added: "Ray has been to see the landlords of pubs in Camden to ask them to keep Amy in check. He wants them to look out for hangers-on who might lead her into trouble."
Amy recently claimed her father will help her beat her drugs problem, saying: "He sorts me out. When I get self-destructive I just need to spend time with my dad."
The 23-year-old has reportedly flown to the US with Blake in a bid to get clean, after Mitch organized an "emergency summit" following her hospitalisation.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was only when Amy saw her family falling apart that she realised she had to do something. She confessed that she and Blake have a drugs problem. They now realise that if they don't get help now, they will both die young. This is their wake-up call."
Mitch is also said to have ordered Blake to have an implant fitted to help him quit drugs.
