Amy Winehouse's 'terrifying' overdose

Amy Winehouse says her drugs overdose was "terrifying".
The 'Rehab' singer, who had been on a three-day binge before she was hospitalized last week, admits she was "out of control" and needs to get help.
Amy told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "It was just crazy - one of the most terrifying moments of my life. I don't know how to explain what happened. I don't really know myself. I can't remember what I looked like. I couldn't recognize myself. I was terrified.
"I was so out of control. It just happened. It shocked me. I'm sorry - I just don't know what got into me. I never want to feel that way again. I've scared myself this time. I was all over the place. I know things have got to change. I need to sort myself out."
Amy, who had to cancel an appearance with the Rolling Stones in Germany tonight (13.08.07), is determined to get back to work as soon as possible.
She said: "I'm fine. I'll be back at work soon. I have to. I'm fine, honest."
Meanwhile, Amy insists her father, not rehab, will help her beat her drugs problem.
The 23-year-old star said: "He sorts me out. When I get self-destructive I just need to spend time with my dad. Rehab is a cop-out."
The singer - who was given an emergency adrenaline shot and had her stomach pumped at London's University College Hospital - was ordered to an "emergency summit" by her worried parents, Mitch and Janis, after being released from hospital last Wednesday evening (08.08.07).
Amy's husband Blake Fielder-Civil and his parents also attended the meeting, but talks turned violent when Mitch lost his temper and grabbed Blake's father by the throat.
Mitch was left fuming when Blake's parents insisted he wasn't to blame for Amy's wild behavior.

I saw Amy Winehouse in Camden once, I was surprised at how small she is, she looked so petite & vulnerable. I think it's a pity the likes of stars like dougherty & winehouse are so vulnerable. I really like Amy Winehouse & I think she could be incredibly sexy & sensual. I had a bit of a drug problem once & me mum bless her heart would always say to me, son bring yourself towards yourself, I think Amy should give it a try,,,
She Is admitting certain things and that's a great start, Get the help that you need than move on.

Sounds like you need a little bit of counseling for your anger. What did you do, ask her out and she said no? Awful lot of personal hatred there bud. She's a hypocrite, and a drug addict yes. But she's not the scum of the earth. You need help as much as she does.
