Beyoncé Knowles keeps three pairs of sunglasses in her bag to ensure she always looks fabulous.

The 'Irreplaceable' singer has revealed she is "prepared" to be photographed at all times and never leaves the house without a pair of black, gold and brown sunglasses.

Beyoncé also carries a pair of gold or nude-coloured Christian Louboutin shoes with her so she can instantly glam up any outfit.

The star, who is used to being followed by paparazzi, refuses to hide from photographers and doesn't let them stop her visiting her favourite shops.

Beyoncé said: "I love shopping, but I hate trying on clothes."

The 25-year-old singer recently treated herself to an 18-carat gold ring featuring 5-carats worth of yellow and white diamonds from Lorraine Schwartz's diamond monkey collection.

Beyoncé, who is rumoured to be engaged to rapper Jay-Z, said: "Now women can buy their own diamonds."

Meanwhile, the star has been nominated for seven MTV Video Music Awards.

Her duet with Shakira, 'Beautiful Liar', is up for Most Earthshattering Collaboration, Best Choreography, Best Director and Best Editing.

'Irreplaceable' has been nominated for the coveted title of Video of the Year, while Beyoncé is in the running for Female Artist of the Year and Quadruple Threat of the Year.
