Sarah Jessica Parker claims her knees are "shot" from constantly wearing high heels in 'Sex and the City'.
The 42-year-old actress, who starred in the hit US TV show as columnist and fashionista Carrie Bradshaw for six years, claims teetering around in her character's trademark stiletto heels has taken its toll on her body.
She told Elle magazine: "I used to spend 18 to 20 hours a day filming in heels and now I spend a much shorter day in them and I'm thinking, 'Oww!'
"I've totally destroyed my body by running and dancing in heels. My knees are shot."
The fashion icon - who is married to 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' star Matthew Broderick, who she has a four-year-old son, James, with - also revealed she can't stand Carrie's top tipple, the Cosmopolitan cocktail, because she thinks it tastes like cleaner.
Parker - who recently signed up to star in a film version of the series - said: "I don't drink much of anything, I'm the designated driver.
"I like a good Cabernet, but I never drink a hard cocktail. I've had many Cosmopolitans sent across when I'm in bars, but I always think, 'God if I can get this in a bottle, I could clean so much stuff at home.' "
