Minnie Driver's new album is inspired by a failed relationship.
The 'Good Will Hunting' star - who dated Matt Damon in the late 90s, was engaged to 'Grindhouse' star Josh Brolin in 2001 and has been romantically linked to magician Criss Angel - drew on her heartache while working on her second album 'Seastories'.
Minnie, 37, told People magazine: "Much of this album is about someone who I loved very much and still have a great, wonderful friendship with even though it didn't work out. My music is always from my experiences.
"This album is about recovering. It's about knowing you'll always love again."
The British actress also spoke of her surprise at receiving an Emmy nomination for her role as Dahlia Malloy on FX's 'The Riches'.
The star confessed she is too busy to think about her red carpet outfit for the award ceremony on September 16.
She said: "I'll be wearing a potato sack as far as I know.
"I have no idea what I'm going to wear or how I'm going to find a dress, because I'm busy on tour."
