Angelina Jolie's latest mission is fighting cancer.
The 32-year-old actress - who lost her mother Marcheline Bertrand to ovarian cancer earlier this year - has pledged her time and support to TV star Fran Drescher's Cancer Schmancer Movement.
The charity strives to ensure all women's cancers are diagnosed in Stage 1, when they are most curable.
Fran, 49, told TV show 'Access Hollywood': "Angelina's mother had ovarian cancer and did not win her battle, so she is going to lock elbows with me and we are going to do some things together.
"We are dedicated to ensure that all women's cancers get diagnosed in Stage 1 by galvanising and educating, then we can change policy by signing petitions."
Fran - who launched the movement this year, seven years on from her own successful battle with uterine cancer- says the key to beating the disease is positive thinking.
'The Nanny' actress explained: "Don't mix imagination with fear - it's a deadly cocktail. Wear a rubber band and every time you start to connect the dots that aren't necessarily there, snap that wrist band and say, 'Don't mix imagination with fear.' "
Angelina - who is already a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador - was so distraught when her mother died in January she broke down in tears during a TV interview.
