05/18/2007 - Jessica Simpson - Cannes, France © Solarpix / PhotorazziFormer preacher Joe Simpson has told the 27-year-old 'Dukes of Hazzard' star he'll buy her an Oscar statuette rather than let her play a porn star.The 49-year-old told People magazine: "The last script that came to us was for Jessica to be a porn star."We were promised we would win an Oscar with that."I told them, 'I think we'll just buy a statue of a little man and keep our clothes on.' " Jessica shot to fame in MTV reality show 'The Newlyweds' about her marriage to ex-husband Nick Lachey, while her younger sister Ashlee, 22, starred in MTV's 'The Ashlee Simpson Show'.Joe revealed his daughters are now constantly asked to star in a variety of different reality shows.He said: "We're pitched those a lot.
