Lindsay Lohan's rehab return

Lindsay Lohan is back in rehab.
The 'Mean Girls' star checked into an undisclosed facility yesterday (24.07.07) after she was arrested for DUI (driving under the influence) in Santa Monica following a police car chase. The 21-year-old has not returned to Malibu's Promises centre where she recently completed a 45-day programme for alcoholism.
Lindsay said of her latest arrest: "Yes. I am innocent... did not do drugs they're not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy."
The actress - who is already facing charges of DUI from an arrest in May - was yesterday charged with DUI, possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custody facility and driving on a suspended licence.
Lindsay's mother Dina said: "I am sick over this.
"We are doing everything in our power in support of Lindsay and I won't give up - this is my daughter and we love her.
"Lindsay is in a safe place, and we are trying to strategically work out our next step."
The 'I Know Who Killed Me' star was wearing an alcohol-monitoring bracelet at the time of her arrest. It regularly records the wearer's blood alcohol level from their sweat and transmits the results back to a central monitoring system, raising an alarm is alcohol is present.
The alarm is also triggered if the bracelet is removed.
Lindsay's lawyer, Blair Berk, insisted the actress is in the grip of a "terrible and vicious disease".
Blair added in a statement: "Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies.
"Unfortunately, late Monday (23.07.07) I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care."

What do Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Posh spice all have in common ?
They are all overpaid, low talent , rich white trash !
They are good indicaters of how low society has fallen , if this human garbage is all it takes to entertain us !
If income was based on intelligence all three most likely wouldnt qualify as cashiers at walmart or McDonalds let alone entertainers!\

lohan is a waste of life and i wish she crashed into a 18 wheeler
lindsey can be saved. she needs 24 hr care for the next year. I can help her but it would mean a year long sabbatical from her career and adhereance to a strict diet and exercise regime away from the crowd she is now running with.
this is serious business- her life and personal freedom are at stake. Felonies and jail time are serious.
My program is not expensive and is comprehensive. but it does require a committment from anyone who is really serious about sobriety.

No wonder the rest of the world hates us.
We try to impose our principles worldwide and then along come these idiots who just purely through their exposure in the media, pull our country through the dirt.
They should be thrown in prison with the rest of the white trash.

She needs one thing to straighten her out...Jail time. If this was any one of us, we'd surely be looking at a minimum of 3 months behind bars, but she (and the rest of young Hollywood) will continue to do this because they have a lot of money and lawyers that will keep them out of jail no matter what they do, so they will continue to do what they do until they fade out of the entertainment spotlight, or die, whichever comes first.
Hope jail time helps Paris, as it has appeared to have thus far. Only time will tell...
I literally sick and tired of actresses and and actors now-a-days. Seriously, if this is who are youth is looking up to then America has it all wrong and frankly it is sickening. I am tired of having the news being filled with drug and alcohol addictions and then 6 months later we praise them. It sends the wrong message to everyone. In all honesty, she WAS a beautiful star and now look at her. Funny thing is is that this isn't the first case. Look at Paris Hilton...we pay these girls MILLIONS of dollars and for what?!?!? I would rather have Sally Sue off the street who may not be as pretty, but at least has some decent morals, not to mention respect herself. I NEVER respond to this stupid comment boxes, but I am just so sick of the news today. Don't we have better things to be reporting on? Reporters need to get a life and report on things around this country that need recognition!

So Lindsey says that the drugs in her pocket weren't hers and she wasn't drunk.........that just goes to show you how really spaced out she really is!
The vicious comments about Lindsey being 'white trash' and worse are revealing about the way authors think about fellow human beings. Do you know what it is like as a young actress in Hollywood? What if it was your daughter? You would 'get out a can of whoop ass'? Good call. At least her parents support her. She is in the news because people expect more of stars than ordinary people, but actually they are ordinary people caught up in a society which is more glamour than substance. Some take pleasure in the mess her life is in. Why do they feel superior? Very interesting, the discussion this news item has brewed up, and therefore obviously newsworthy.
Anybody who's a drunk driver, and caucasion, is white trash. Period. And to do it repeatedly? What an idiot she is. And are WE superior for insulting her and looking down on her? Of course we are! We obviously don't believe in risking other people's lives. That caring attitude towards innocent people, versus her selfish drunken attitude, is the epitome of superiority. The lawyers are gonna love this...transporting a controlled substance, cocaine, into a custodial facility. Wow, this means that AFTER the subject was detained and arrested, she was NOT SEARCHED prior to being placed in the police vehicle. Shame on the cops. Since this case involves a female 'suspect', a female officer would be required to search the accused, since she wouldn't be arrested without probable cause. OK, what if she had a gun in the back seat of the police vehicle? What happens if she had a bomb? What lack of police professionalism was missing in this 'arrest'? Did the police, after finding cocaine in her pocket, or elsewhere, proceed with a vaginal exam to be sure there was no other controlled substance being brought into the facility? Oh, my, that happens every day to non celebs. What the hell is going on here?

We're supposed to be 'stupid celebrity bashing'. When did this turn into personal attacks on each other? Nothing better to do? There's enough nastiness going around right now, come on. Let's get back to patting ourselves on the back because we're not drunken drug addicts trying to kill innocent people while we try to drive home. At least I hope none of you are. What she did was criminal, and she shouldn't be treated any differently than any of us would if we got caught. She should do her time, then be forced into AA and probation for a couple years like they did with my cousin. It forced HER to stop, it could work for Lindsey too.
No, Lindsay needs some SERIOUS rehab. She's beyond the point of alcohol monitoring. She needs to go through a long, enduring rehab program and she needs to get completely away from the Hollywood scene during that time. On top of that, girlfriend has some serious anger management issues that needs to be sorted out. For whatever reason, she seems to lash out at everybody for no reason...this was long before she started getting DUIs.
The girl is emotionally weak despite her big mouth. I believe she has a deep insecurity of feeling ugly compared to leggier, blond and pretty women. Remember when she started a fight with Hilary Duff as well as Jessica Simpson and Jessica Biel? All these women are friend and non-hostile by nature, but Lindsay is not. She really is a 'mean girl' when it comes down to it.
The sad thing is that she's a very talented actress and has the potential to be Oscar material in the future, but she's got this HUGE fricking CHIP on her shoulder. She needs some serious rehab and she also needs a swift kick in the attitiude department. All that sand she raised with these other girls definitely backfired. Hard. Paris Hilton is spoiled and weak. Britney Spears is just an idiot. But lindsay actually has brains, but she tends to make decisions by her impusliveness and rash temper. Shame.

I agree with 'Mom'. It's time to stop thinking about these problem entertainers and concentrate on someone worthwhile. The name calling on this site is what's stupid. No one knows Lindsey personally, so why care what she does or doesn't do and get all worked up over this supposedly selfish, 'I'll do as I darn please' actor. I'm sure she could care less what anyone outside her circle thinks about her. Keep reading the mags that feature her and see her movies - keep her millions coming so she can laugh all the way to the bank!!

LLohan isn't the first bimbo with big breasts that's gone off the deep end. If she gets herself back together, great -- I look forward to her doing something interesting with her life. If not, who really cares? She's not the first and certainly won't be the last.
