Celebrity death spiral: Britney pitches herself to OK!

Once a pop queen, now a struggling mother of two on the outs with her own mother, Britney Spears has pitched herself to a tabloid for an interview.
TMZ.com reports that Spears rang up "OK!" magazine's main number and asked for "OK!" Editor-in-Chief Sara Ivens.
The TMZ-ers report that Britney acted as her publicist while negotiating an exclusive tell-all with the magazine, to which Ivens agreed.
Britney will discuss her babies; her mother Lynne, Kevin Federline, and probably her "amazing career comeback" according to TMZ.
