Keith Urban says staying sober will be easy.
The country singer - who checked into rehab to be treated for alcoholism last year, just months after his wedding to actress Nicole Kidman - has felt more "alive" since battling his drink problem.
When asked if it would be difficult stay on the wagon, Keith replied: "Actually it's not. The other way for me was much tougher because I was not really living. I was choosing the option not to feel and in the last few months I've felt that I'm alive, engaged in my own life, present and accountable. The irony is I'm becoming the person I was trying to be all along."
Keith also believes his rehab stint made his marriage to Nicole "stronger".
When asked if he thought Nicole was humiliated by his rehab treatment, Keith told Glamour magazine: "I think pain can knit you together much stronger than happiness."
