I find the actions of Michael Vick not only criminal but heartbreaking. I love foot ball but I will not support this man in any way including watching him play football. He is a killer and should be put in prison.

Thank You

And you all are suprised???? It never ceases to amaze me how naive lilly white america is. If you only knew. Wake up and realize that marketing of personalities for public perception is just that, a nice spin to sell and make money. Just because a guy can play a particular sport well or a actor gets picked for the next big blockbuster does not make them good wholesome citizens.
Get a clue.

He is a disgusting piece of trash. How anybody could kill innocent puppies or even adult dogs is beyond me. He should be slammed on the ground, from the top of the Eiffel tower.

Michael Vick lied to the head of the NFL. The proof is in hand that he did so. He made false statements to the press. Since garnering such a high slary for his athletic abilities he has shown very little self control, and less than good judgement. The last game he played in an Atlanta uniform is likely his last game in the NFL. And the fault lies solely with him, as he knew his dog fighting was suspect and continued anyway.

They should make him crouch in a filthy kennel for 6 years in jail and eat scraps of food off the floor - what a disgusting pig!

He's innocent until proven guilty, folks; an indictment only means the case can move on. It's not a conviction. Yes, the story is compelling, and it certainly looks like he might be guilty, but the commentary so far in this thread sounds like, well, a bunch of snarling pit bulls. And I'm sure you are all perfect, by the way. . . you're certainly not as bad as Michael Vick has not yet been proven to be, right? So, keep feeling good about yourself while you tear down others, especially if it seems like they deserve to be torn down. What do YOU deserve?

Lets see, wealthy beyond most people's imagination, with an almost unlimited potential to be a great role model and do something purposeful that could significantly impact the world in a positive way. However, chooses to follow this path instead. What a worthless p.o.s.

Hello?Jul 18th, 2007 - 16:21:36

If the story's true - killing dogs is a far cry from 'not being perfect'. Not perfect is an occasional gossip, rolling through a stop sign, or burning dinner - being a murderer (whether it be of people or animals) is a TAD worse than 'not perfect'.

I cant speak for anyone else here, but I am certainly better than that piece of trash. This isn't breaking news either Tim. Lots of people have known about the investigations into this for some time. He doesn't need to go to a courthouse to be proven guilty, hes already been caught. If you walked in on your wife sleeping with your neighbor, would you have to bring it to court for her to be proven guilty?

Another blow to a beautiful breedJul 18th, 2007 - 16:49:28

As a pit bull owner, I am saddened by yet another blow to this beautiful breed's image. These dogs, despite what our 'media' has tried to tell us, are considered one of the most gentle of all, especially to humans.
Agression is TRAINED into these dogs, by mindless, cruel, indecent cretins like Mr. Vick and his posse of idiots.
How a human being can take the life of an intelligent animal is beyond me.
Our pit sleeps with our cats, and plays with children with NO agression. This is a MYTH.
The problem lies in the fact that these dogs are strong, and they don't give up when pushed to the brink.
Our dog has never started a fight at the dog park, it's always another dog ATTACKING our dog, with a typically unbalanced owner running behind, screaming at OUR dog!
Anyway folks, please let this incident show that people are the weak link, not dogs.

Michael Vick is an idiot, as we can easily see by the way he attempts to play football. Even with his blessed talent physically, he doesn't have a chance as a quarterback because of his horrible decision making on the field.

Well, now we have evidence that he also has the same level of decision making OFF the field.

On top of it all, he LIED about all of this. Like he didn't know there were 55 dogs on his property!

Rot in hell

I can't believe the idiot actually put on dog fights. I agree that pit bulls are a very gentle breed, my best friend has a beautiful female pit puppy and she is the sweetest puppy. Michael Vick SHOULD go to prison, or maybe someone should slam him on the ground, or many of the other things that he (and his idiotic friends) did to the poor dogs. As for the comment about people talking down to a 'Colored' person, grow up, this isn't 1956 anymore, he is just as much at fault as any other person from any other race that would be dumb enough to pull this shit.
