Paris Hilton to replicate?

Paris Hilton is feeling broody since close friend Nicole Richie fell pregnant, it has been reported.

The hotel heiress, who recently spent 23 days in prison for driving offences, is said to be ready to settle down and start a family.

A source told Britain's Closer magazine: "Paris told me, 'I want lots of babies and a more simple life away from the celebrity spotlight. I did a lot of soul-searching about my partying and then I heard Nicole's pregnant and I decided its time for me to grow up and take responsibility - and the best way to do that is to become a mother.' "

Paris is allegedly so desperate to have children soon she is considering adopting.

The source added: "Paris hopes to find a Prince Charming to be the father, but if she can't, she's prepared to adopt.

"She knows she doesn't have the best history, but she is a different person now. She said, 'I have enough money to raise a child. I have businesses. I have a beautiful house. I can be the best mother in the world.' "

Paris, 26, is said to feel under pressurise to start a family because her mother Kathy had four children in her 20s.

The source revealed: "Paris said, 'I'm 26 and the clock is ticking.' Kathy was 22 when she had Paris and then she had three more children before she was 30. Paris wants to follow in her footsteps."
