Pearl Lowe has branded Gwen Stefani's husband Gavin Rossdale a bad father.
The model-and-singer - who has an 18-year-old daughter Daisy with Bush frontman Gavin - claims the singer abandoned Daisy when he recently discovered he was more than her godfather.
Pearl - who is married to Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey - told Britain's The Times newspaper: "Gavin was already in Daisy's life as her godfather, and came to me saying I think we need to find out if I am the father. But when we set up meetings to have DNA tests he didn't show up. It got weird and he stopped returning my calls.
"This guy's a millionaire - he can at least give Danny back the money he's spent. It's been a traumatic time for us.
"I lost my best friend, Daisy lost her godfather and doesn't have a dad. And she lost self-worth. Because when someone rejects you like that, you wonder what's wrong with you.
"When he had his baby with Gwen, Daisy's half-brother, he didn't even tell her. She's never seen the baby. Not to take responsibility and not to let your daughter even meet her grandparents and see her heritage is pretty sick."
Gavin and Gwen now have a one-year-old son Kingston together.
Pearl said she does not think she will ever heal the rift with Gavin.
She said: "I really don't care if I never see him ever again. He's been incredibly vile. He saw Daisy at first, but he was always rude to her, he made it feel like it was her fault. It was her 18th birthday and there was no present, no phone call, nothing."
A representative for Gavin refused to comment.

If Danny claimed Daisy as his daughter, then she's his daughter. It doesn't matter what the genetics are. Raising a child isn't as simple as that. Gavin will never be that young woman's father, dna or no dna. That little girl's mother is just making a mess of this whole thing. Did either of them bother asking the girl if SHE wanted to know her genetics? NO. The adults did it on their own. Gavin has always been there for her while she was growing up (at 18 she's still growing intellectually) and he always will be there. But to be her father? That's between him and Daisy, and she's way too old to change who her daddy is, Danny will always be her daddy. Genetics just aren't a factor in what a 'real' family is. And no, Gavin doesn't owe any money to Danny, that's ridiculous. Danny willingly raised 'his' daughter, never asking the question about paternity, he either didn't care or he thought she was his. He willingly claimed her. No judge would order backpay when a man willingly accepted paternity, it's already been tried, and was proven to be nothing but a spiteful lawsuit.
HE is a bad father? Until very recently, she was an extremely hard core drug addict nicknamed 'Dyson' by her own friends!!! It's hardly Gavin's fault that Pearl doesn't know the paternity for her own child!
Yeah, but it is his fault that he's rejecting HIS OWN DAUGHTER now that he does know that he's the father! I bet you Gwen's the reason he doesn't talk to her anymore.
And you can't really force Gavin legally to pay... but he should just to be a decent human being. If for nothing else, just to thank the man for doing what he was supposed to do... RAISE HIS DAUGHTER. IMO, its shameful that he would have to be sued for something like that.
The quotes you see look like nothing more than a desperate, bitter and jealous mother.
Women will frequently make up absolutely anything, lies or other, if it will serve their own case and make them look like saints.
I fail to be convinced that things are as simple and one-sided as Pearl paints them.
