The singer-and-actress, who recently released her new album 'Wild Hope', says being famous from a young age robbed her of her teenage years.
Mandy, who sings about making love on new track 'Gardenia', told Blender magazine: "Maybe it's because I started in the industry when I was 15.
"Oh! Making love on the floor is so taboo! I went from being a child to making love on the floor. There was no intermediate step."
Mandy, who got her first recording deal when she was just 14, claims she felt sexier when she was a teenager.
The 23-year-old, who admits to suffering from depression, explained: "It's funny - I think that my sexiest time was at 15 - my gawky body, swaying like a little stick figure. My most overtly sexy thing was the first one, right off the bat.
"And from there it was all covered up.
"I don't know where that confidence came from - and I don't know where it went."
