Amy Winehouse was seen drinking just hours after cancelling a Liverpool show claiming she was too ill to perform.

The 'Rehab' singer was spotted in London pub The Hawley Arms with husband Blake Fielder-Civil at 8.45pm on Wednesday (04.07.07) - the same evening 4,500 fans were left disappointed by her no-show.

Winehouse had reportedly spent the whole of Tuesday (03.06.07) in the same pub, before returning the next day to drink long into the night.

The 23-year-old claims a Liverpool doctor told her she was unfit to perform. Yet within hours she had made the trip to London and was out on the town.

Disappointed fans paid £24 and queued in driving rain to see Winehouse in her Summer Pops show.

It is not the first time Winehouse has let her fans down. She pulled out of a performance at GAY at London's Astoria in January when she was sick backstage following a drinking session with Kelly Osbourne.

In March, she postponed two performances at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire at the last minute citing a mystery illness after being pictured earlier the same day buying alcohol in a supermarket.

She was an embarassing, staggering mess at Glastonbury too. You have to be pretty wrecked for the staff to talk about it - they've seen a lot.

She's also not very good.

I wonder if the music industry going to impose heavy fines on any event organiser or singers if they carry on like this, and make them responsible for any inconvenient, and have the public down load their songs with out fighting for their rights or scrap them from any rights, or should their be offsong to watch this sad industry of their behaviour as they did with gas, bt, and electricity. Enough is enough
