Drew Barrymore is on the look-out for her 'Mr. Right'.

The Hollywood actress, who split from her Strokes drummer boyfriend Fabrizio Moretti this year, still believes in true love and is looking for the man of her dreams.

She said: "I'm a total romantic and I'm eternally optimistic about finding true love."

However, Drew insists she is happy being single and doesn't need a man in her life.

She added: "I'm happy to be single, and I'm always happy if I'm with good friends."

The 32-year-old actress recently confessed she wants to become a mother.

Drew admitted she is getting broody and worries she may never have a baby of her own.

She said: "Oh God, I've just started to think about maybe having children.

"So many of my friends are having children and I'm godmother to Frances bean, Courtney Love's daughter, and one of my best friend's little sons, who I see al the time.

"I feel I'm sort of surrounded by children and I do feel I'm going to have a child at some point. Maybe a little girl, but I don't know if it's going to happen. Well just have to wait and see."
