No one can change from a party freek, sleep-around-bimbo to a humanitarian
concerned about the disadvantaged overnight. She needs to go away and TRY to keep a low profile for a couple of years, then maybe she can reinvent herself into someone who could do a lot of good with the money she has.

She's a rich airhead. How can you expect her to consider what anyone else thinks? All she can focus on is how the world affects her. Now, if she can figure out she needs to hire someone to drive her, she can ride around as drunk as she wants and no one will care. On the other hand, she'd get a lot less attention that way. For someone with pretty much zero talent she does get a lot of attention.

why the **** would anyone look up to her as a role model is beyond me. She's so damn retarded (yeah, ugly too) and doesn't do anything good, ever, so how can she be a role model...someone who guides people under influence to do right. let's hope she has to go back again soon...

Her handlers never should have let Paris do that interview last night.
+ I never trust anyone who won't look you in the eye and she would not look Larry directly in the eye. You could tell that she was staring at his tie, trying to avert his gaze. Even the CNN producers knew that and tried to adjust the angle of the shot by shooting from below the desk and it still didn't work.
+ Favorite passage of the Bible? Did you notice that the first thing she did was look down at her notes trying to find an answer? Sorry, darling. You're on your own as far as the Lord is concerned.
+ If only...she dressed as modestly as she did last night on a regular basis. She actually covered her shoulders?
+ It's genetic. Did you see the footage of her leaving jail and running to hug her mother (who was still in the SUV at the end of the sidewalk) and how the mother 'paused' in mid-hug so the paparazzi got their shot?
+ Cause, schmause. Just because you can pronounce the name of a disease or cause doesn't mean we believe you're passionate about it. Oh, that's right! You can't pronounce it correctly. Our bad. For paying you too much attention.
+ ADD or subtract.
KING: How does -- does it affect you in business?
HILTON: No.
KING: Television?
HILTON: No.
KING: Singing?
HILTON: No. I'm doing fine everywhere.
If one has a true case of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) it affects you in all situations. Not just when you're incarcerated.

Larry King was SO right when he tried to give Paris free public relations advise. The said thing is that she is so thick I don't think she even heard it.

That creature is somebody's role model? If I were a parent of a kid that looked up to her, I'd be sooo ashamed that I went wrong somewhere. I was taught to look up to people for their deeds and intelligence. She's got neither one.

I love Paris Hilton, she is great.. She is pretty, intelligent, and has the world at her finger tips. Many love to hate her because she is so very privileged, but in the world of capitalism, why not love her? The money that she spends, and press that she receives, creates jobs.. Moreover, why shouldn't she receive special treatment, the judge already gave her special treatment when he sentenced her in such a harsh manner. The average Joe would never get 45 days in jail for driving after revocation. Dislike the French all you want but Paris is all American.

Ugly? Thats a retarded statement! Role models make mistakes too. They are only human!

I wish you would quit being whinny little idiots and forget about all of it. She did her time, not let it go!

I thought overcrowding was the reason she was let out the first time? But it said here she was kept in solitary confinement. Couldn't have been that overcrowded, could it?

She was let out early because she is special, but then some dolts thought that she was not special enough to get out of jail early, so they put her back in. Tlak about cruel and unusual punishment!.....No seriously, they let her out to go get a massage and a facial treatment. It would be unacceptable for the guards and other inmates to see Paris not looking peachy keen.

Paris has impeccable taste in fashion and she is an no different from any of the other Hollywood socialies - the envy of Americans. If people hate her so much why do they read about her?? I think Paris is a wonderful beatiful woman.

The legal system and the media have no guts to pick those dirty politicians, drug dealers and real murderers (because those people would either kill them, or put them in jail), but are very interested in attacking those harmless actors/actresses. What a corrupted media and corrupted legal system.

For that matter, what is socialies? If nothing else on this site, we can learn a whole lot of different words!

For those who need a little education Paris is often referred to a a Socialite. A we think she does a fine job at it.

A socialite is a person (male or female, but more often used for a woman) of social prominence who spends significant resources entertaining and being entertained but is not (at least in the early 20th century heyday of socialites) a professional entertainer. A socialite is usually a member of the upper class or aristocracy. In the United States, socialites may be listed in the Social Register. Young women may be debutantes prior to being socialites.

Paris has been an incredible marketing machine. Have you seen anyone else generate so much publicity. I am not commenting on her behavior or making any value judgments. I am making an observation that whether the public intends it or not they are supporting her by watching TV shows, commenting on websites, etc. All of these venues make money (even this site) based on the number of page views and unique visitors they can attract to the site. Not that this is wrong but it's interesting how many people are unwittingly enabling Paris to generate 'buzz'.

Very amusing and intelligent reponses, oh, well, not really. Plenty of extremely jealous people posting here though. Anyway, its all these intelligent people that watch, read and talk about her, that keeps her in the news.

I'm sure that judge feel really good about himself, but like everything else in the legal system, its for the wrong reason. Nobody ever goes to jail for what she did, that pathetic judge just wanted attention. People get off for things that are 1000 times worse, all the time. Just like lots of people go too jail for the wrong reasons.

After seeing what that preachers wife got, for shooing her husband in the back, while asleep. I actually think even less about the entire USA legal system, which isn't anything but a money making machine, than I did before. Of course I don't know how it went lower, since I already get sick just thinking about it.

But one thing is for sure, best stay clear of it if possible. All anyone involved wants too do is get a case over, and go to the next one. They could care less if they have right person or not, and that's a fact.

HOW RIGHT YOU ARE!!! She made a fool of Larry King last night - I didn't watch the show, but the news kept running it - she came off as her usual dumb self but lied and King didn't question it. All in all she had her face on TV for an hour, then stupid O'Reilly devoted a big part of his show debating news people about King's show on Paris. The public needs to get smart and ignore these so-called celebrities who are famous for being famous and nothing else.
The news reported she has flown off to Maui. She has all the money she would ever want, so I doubt if she really cares what the common public thinks of her. Because of her status in the press and her wealth, she will never lack for a big contingent of people trying to be her best friends and bowing before her.
