Nicky Wire's drug fears

Manic Street Preachers bassist Nicky Wire doesn't take drugs because he's scared of dying.
Nicky insists he gets his highs from playing live with his bandmates.
Nicky said: "Playing live is just addictive anyway, it's like a drug. I don't take drugs because I'm too scared I'll f***ing die if I do. But for me, playing live feels like I'm on drugs."
The 38-year-old rocker also hit out at all the "rich kids" who are making "terrible" music.
Nicky - whose band played the Glastonbury Festival last weekend - said: "There are so many rich kids making music these days, it's horrible. They think getting expelled from their privileged schools is a great thing, they wear it like a badge of honour. I'd be a bit more respectful."
