Chanteuse Shirley Bassey has allegedly backed British singer star Amy Winehouse to sing the next James Bond theme tune.
Starpulse.com claims Bassey, who has sung the title song for a record three James Bond movies "is urging the film bosses to hire the Rehab hitmaker for the next spy-franchise installment."
The 70-year-old legedary singer says, "There aren't many female artists of her generation with such an unusual sound. I can't think of anybody better to sing the Bond theme tune," originally reported by World Entertainment News Network.
