Amy Winehouse's parents always knew she was a rebel.
The 'Rehab' singer, who has shocked the public with her drunken antics and wild ways, was always "self-willed" in her mother and father's eyes.
Amy was just 15 when she got the first of her 13 tattoos - which came as no surprise to her parents.
She said: "My parents pretty much realised that I would do whatever I wanted, and that was it, really."
Amy's parents - Janis and Mitch - split when she was nine but she remained close to them both.
Mitch insists Amy, 23, didn't actively seek out trouble.
He explained: "She was always very self-willed. Not badly behaved, but different."
Amy reportedly upset her parents recently by not inviting them in her secret wedding to Blake Fielder-Civil.
After returning to the UK after the Miami ceremony, Amy announced plans for another celebration to make it up to her family and friends.
