Political repercussions and fallout from Paris Hilton's handling of her jail sentence is heating up.

Two Los Angeles based politicians are under the heat lamp now.  Sheriff Lee Baca, the Scientologist cop who has some critics vocal in local newspapers accusing him of cozying up to celebrities and accepting Hilton money for his campaign, and LA City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo who put himself out in the media slinging mud at Baca over his ties to Hilton's grandfather who contributed to his campaign, who now has his own public issues to deal with.

Hollywood reporter Janet Charlton reports that this "Paris" business "has put his [Baca] career is on very shaky ground."

Charlton and other local Los Angeles media note that the "spotlight" has now landed on Rocky Delgadillo and the uncovering of his wife's probation scandal, misuse of city-owned cars and alleged abuse of city staffers running personal errands.

The story was broken by the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday.

According to the Los Angeles Times, a warrant for Michelle Delgadillo's arrest was issued by a judge in 1998 after she failed to appear in court on charges of driving without insurance on a suspended license in an unregistered car.

Almost immediately after the LAT story broke, she appeared in court to plead no contest to a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license, and the warrant was canceled.

Delgadillo was sentenced to 12 months on probation and fined $431, according to a spokesman for Delgadillo’s office, reports the LAT.

All of the new information now for public scrutiny "has flattened Rocky" according to Janet Charlton.

WHAT ? The warrants are for his wife, not him. I'm sure this latest media feeding frenzy is backed by Paris Hiltons family. They probably paid many people to dig up any dirt they could on anyone involved with jailing their poor little innocent Paris ! The fact that this was the best the muckrakers could come up with is very telling. Paris got her just rewards. She finally learned to take her 'butt whuppin' and shut up.
If her family doesn't let it die out.........................dear little Paris will find herself with a 'bullseye' on her back that every cop in the state will zero in on.
One little stop for a minor traffic offense, one little flick of the wrist by the cop.............and TAAAAAA DAAAAAAAA ! 'Hey there Miz Paris darlin', that sure looks like a crack rock lying in plain view on the backseat of your vehicle, why don't you just step out and assume the position !'
Lesson #1........don't mess with the cops.

Hmmmm....Rocky is getting the backhand of karma. He piled on Paris just to get his name in the headlines...and wow! Has that ever backfired. Turns out he drove without insurance a year, has staffers do personal work for him while on worktime, allowed his city vehicle to be illegally used by his wife and then had the city pay for an accident that his wife was involved in ....Let's talk about his wife now. She had no business license for several years, drove constantly with a suspended automobile license and just cleaned up several long standing bench warrants in the past week. Wow..these sound like characters I would want in my city government. Guess Rocky was right....people with money and fame don't need to follow the rules!

The hypocrisy with the american judicial system. If Paris Hilton got a 43-day sentence in jail for DUI, the prosecutor, who knowingly violated the law, and obstructing justice with his wife's infractions, should be fired and jailed too. Interesting silence from the self-righteous Nancy Grace!!!

It does look like Paris Hilton's odd combination of money, fame and unsophisticated hubris is the gift that keeps on giving ... of the same. The chaos that surrounds her as a 'crazymaker' doesn't seem to be particularly good for those she touches ... for example, Britney Spears.

As for having a sheriff that is a Scientologist, that is really setting the fox to guard the hen house. Mind control cultists who come across as a bad cross between used car salesmen and pyramid scheme mobsters are not who we would want in law enforcement. Might as well move to Russia.

As for prosecutors, the old saying that 'Cops have the best dope' shouldn't be forgotten. But who can be responsible for one's spouse? Up to a certain point maybe. But automobile ownership, registration and insurance is usually done jointly in a marriage. Delgadillo's wife was driving an unregistered car. It isn't a smoking gun but it does seem to reflect back on him with the possibility that they were not particularly disciplined with regards compliance with the law.

So I guess we can be thankful that the chaos that follows in the wake of this spoiled young woman has unearthed corruption ... and thankful that the bright lights didn't reach so far as to illuminate and broadcast our own shortcomings!

Is this the double standard: the prosecutor's wife got zero days in jail while the actress got 23 days in jail? Miss Hilton should ask hiw father to change his profession from the Hotel owner to Prosecutor.

Sheriff Baca has been under the influence of for some time. He is supporting their sham Narconon drug rehab program, which teachings (posing like DARE) were removed from the California, Boston and Hawaii public schools. See www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Stop-Narconon/Baca/

You can Google for Mark Shurtleff, the Attorney general of Utah to see how he has also come under influence. \'s detox version being sold for prison rehab is called Criminon, and actress Marisol Nichols now has a House Rep asking 2 million for this program in Illinois. See the celeb conection yet. Tom Cruise and singer Beck have been ptuiching these programs all over the place. not only uses the cult of celebrity but specifically uses their celebs to recruit the exact people who need to protect the citizens against these scammers. The point is that targets law enforcement, and they need to be investigated by the US. Follow the money. They use front groups and remove the Scientology name to pose as secular. The presence of Baca precludes Paris Hilton, this is a big time cult who, by the way, uses coercive persuasion including hypnosis and hard sell techniques. We can be angered over this celebrity poser ideation or deal with helping our law enforcement and gov\'t officials understand the tactics uses to set people free who \'rank\' or protect out citizens from a group who practices high level confidence games that include very persuasive techniques. They are sitting right in front of you, they want federal monies for their programs. Why else have they surrounded the people who write the checks and have 'chosen people?'
