Paris Hilton's fellow prison inmates are delighted she has returned because they are getting extra treats.
Prisoners at California's Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood - where the socialite was transferred back to on Wednesday (13.06.07) - claim they are receiving added perks to stop them complaining that Paris is getting special treatment.
Rosemary Gibbons, 35, who released yesterday (14.06.07), told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Since she was here last week, they started giving us double bologna, double apple juices. Two blankets instead of one - and a sheet, too! Everyone has cookies coming out of their pockets.
"Now we feel like we are in the Hilton Hotel."
Waynnisha Brown, 19, also released yesterday said: "There is extra food everywhere, and now they take you at the clinic right away if you are sick and they don't charge you. It's usually $3 for medical, now it's free."
Meanwhile, Paris' mother Kathy has revealed the socialite's sister Nicky was hysterical after visiting her in jail.
Kathy told People magazine: "It's tough. It is. It's just one hour a week - 30 minutes on Sunday and 30 minutes on Tuesday. We talk through glass.
"And Nicky left in hysterics. She tried to keep the brave face but - I never see Nicky cry."
Nicky added: "It's sad. It's like right out of the movies. The glass partition, the orange jumpsuit. Everything."
Paris, 26, re-entered prison custody at the weekend after a briefly being let out on house release.
She spent four days at Twin Towers jail - a mental facility - due to unspecified medical conditions, and has now returned to Lynwood to complete her 45-day sentence for driving with a suspended licence.

You have to love the quote by her sister Niki. 'it's just like the movies'. No the movies are sometimes like real life. These people opperate and believe they are above society. It's a sad, sad state that Hollywood offers up to the youth of America. Nice role models Paris, Brittney and Lindsey.
'... to complete her 45-day sentence for driving with a suspended licence.'
I'm getting so tired of that phrase. Her sentence had to do with a little more than just driving on the suspended license.
Replace 'for' with 'related to' and it becomes more correct.
you are all such mean spirited people. The media loved building paris up, now they just love bringing her down. It's the media and the people who encouraged this that make me sick. Paris Hilton is just a young woman entitled to a break like everyone.
I think Ms. Hilton deserved what she got. It doesn't matter that the media who like to bring her up are the same ones that bring her down. That's how Hollywood is. The only reason they are enjoying bringing her down so much is becasue she like Lindsay Lohan and all the other celebrities feel that they are above the law. Its about time we see them paying for their actions like normal people. I understand its hard for her motehr and sister to see her in jail but they don't seem to realise that it IS her fault. I don't mean to soudn cliche with this but Paris should have kept in mind that if you can't do the time don't do the crime. She deserves everythnig she got.
Why should there be 2 sets of rules; one for people like Ms. Hilton and her cronies and one for Mr. Joe Blow - people like you and me? I had the misfortune of seeing 'A Simple Life' in syndication recently and was amazed. Amazed that this kind of drivel made it to TV. Amazed that people actually watch this horrible programming. Amazed that someone who was born into riches - with absolutely NO talent of which to speak could consent to participating in such a mean-spirited show. How sad and how typically American!
I think Paris Hilton is where she belongs. I think she should stay there for being an obnoxious air headed bimbette. That's just my 2 cents worth. Some people love her!
If one was sentence here in the province of Quebec to 45 days, the incarceration costs and prison system overcrowding would automatically earn one a remission of sentence of 'five sixths' to just 1/6th, 8 of the 45 days. Then, at the complete discretion of the Jailer, you may apply and receive a sur-population SURPOP, which is immediate release, not doing more than one or two hours in Jail.
Costs associated with incarceration is much too prohibitive.
Society prepares crimes, as Adolphe Quetelet said; 'the criminal is the instrument that executes them. 'Every society has the criminals it deserves.'
'And Nicky left in hysterics. She tried to keep the brave face but - I never see Nicky cry.'
Nicky added: 'It's sad. It's like right out of the movies. The glass partition, the orange jumpsuit. Everything.'
Most people would say this is reality not Hollywood. I'm glad your family has had the chance to experience it, if only for a short time. You all have privileged lives and probably don't even truly appreciate it.
If Foreskindiver1958 does not like 2 sets of rules then one would think he/she would realize that the 2 sets of rules in this case clearly have treated Paris much worse than Jane Doe. Jane Doe would have been released within 4 days while Paris Hilton is still serving time and now on day 13.
Paris serving time for driving on a suspended license (suspended for 60 or 90 days)while on probation for a minimal DUI (.08) gets a 45 day sentence while the Prosecutors' wife driving on a suspended license (suspended for more than a year for driving without insurance) simply paid a fine $186.00.
Now who is benifiting from the '2 sets of rules'? Certainly not Paris who is completing 23 days of time served which is about the same amount of time that others serve for assult, domestic abuse or stealing. Remember that Paris did not hurt anyone other than maybe the feelings of the policeman that wanted a date. And while we are on that subject for those like the Nancy Grace show that continue to claim several probation violations is the reason she should serve more time, Paris is not the first person to be let go after being stopped by the police. Most women if they are honest will admitt they have been let off by police at one time or another. Neither Paris or you and I should be spending time in jail for something we might have been given a break on in the past. If Paris or you and I were not charged and given the chance to fight a complaint at the time of the complaint, we should not even hear about it in a court much less have it contribute to our punishment. We do not know how many breaks other women have received before being charged with driving on a suspended license. Those being booked and let out in the same day might have had 10 breaks before being charged.
I think Paris would like to be treated inline with the same set of rules applying to Jane Doe (those convicted and released for the same crime in 4 days or less).
And if signing up for the alcohol classes was sooooooo important to the judge or Nancy Grace then why not have her and others attend the class while in jail?
What a Joke!...'it's like in the movies' how dumb can you be??? Goes to show you just how stupid some rich people are!!!..let's talk about real issues like amnesty! Isn't that more important?
bush will get this bill passed because you can tell by that stupid little smile on his face that he know's something that we don't! Well, they think we don't know! If this bill gets passed we are in big trouble folks! Make calls today and try to stop this bill from passing!!
presumably Paris' sex life has been taken into account, for the better, so the other inmates are getting that stuff better too?
All the leagle system is about is money $$. Period. Same as everything in this country. If you are poor there is no justice in the legal system Period. And the top lawyers are up in the White House with the same system.
We created her and gave her a fame and for what? For homemade sex video! Well... we made her and we have the right to bring her down. So down goes Hilton and please no one try to make me feel bad about it, she thinks that we're for her entertainment, we guess what? It's the other way around. I tune on TV to get entertained. And that is entertainment. A camera in her cell would be the icing on the cake. But don't worry she's get even bigger after getting out and we'll go like 'GOD PLEAAAASE!' But heyyy... life isnt fair, go spit in the face of the person that told that it is.
Peace \/
The Hiltons may be rich, but they're stupid as all get out.
No wisdom in that family. No understanding of real life.
If the butler didn't hold the umbrella, they would stand in the rain collectively, wondering why they were wet.
I'm glad that little Paris twerp is in jail.. it's good to see the law put the rich behind bars-like the rest of us. i hope she gets molested by a dyke in prison, lol
i hope she dies in there
I think Paris got screwed no way should she had to spend 23 days in jail for driving on a suspended licence!! come on! Im from Canada and people here who do drug dealing and or worse get off with out any jail time! so i think she got screwed over. Sure she is a bimbo and whatever but how many other girls out there are stupid blond bimbos and u don't see them get hated on ike paris! People are just jealus of her fame and money and all the news and radios stations should leave the girls alone! man how many people have had a few beers and drove.. i bet almost 80% of people drink and drive! I don't mean wasted and drive i mean have a beer and drive!!! like she did! i just think she served way to much time in jail! I know a guy who got busted for drinknig a driving, got Probabtion then he was a stupid person and got wasted and drove with suspended licence, stolen licence plate, and was wasted . and got busted and he had to do a weekend in jail thats it! i think people should just move on with there lifes and leave paris alone!

Did anyone think to ask those released if they were released early? Can we find out if others have been released early since Paris was booked on June 3rd and if so were any of those released convicted of lesser crimes?
